What To Look for in a Song to Learn to Play in a Guitar
Here are a couple of guidelines that I consider when I picked some of the easiest Beatles songs to play in a guitar.
There are a lot of songs by the Beatles that is easy to play but I do not want to overwhelm you so I only listed down seven of them.
Here are the criteria in picking the easy songs to play in the guitar.
- Minimal number of chords – If you can recall two, three or 4 chords you can certainly play a lot of songs. The less chords in a song, the easier it is to remember how to play it.
- Minimal barre chords – barre chords require us to use our fretting hand’s index finger to press all 6 strings in a particular fret. Less barre chords is better for beginners.
- Familiarity of the song – the songs are some of the most popular during their times.
Another thing to consider is the tempo of the song. Slow songs tend to be much easier to play.
